Infographic – Brazilian Fund Manager’s Duty to Act

Our team of Funds, Venture Capital and Private Equity practice at Feijó Lopes Advogados prepared the chart below evidencing that “duty to act” is one of the main obligations of Brazilian fund managers in protecting funds’ assets and rights, especially during and post-pandemic.

The infographic lists some of the most used types of Brazilian funds, including equity fund (FIP), receivables fund (FIDC), real estate fund (FII), and credit fund (FIMC), and their respective regulations issued by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). We hope that it is of some guidance.
